  • Kim Groves joined Morphosis in 1988. In her over twenty year tenure at Morphosis, Ms. Groves has continued to prove her talent and dedication to architecture, and in 2006, was named Managing Principal of the Los Angeles office. Ms. Groves maintains broad leadership over the firm’s overall management, operations, and strategic planning while maintaining an active role in many of the firm’s projects, As a Principal, she is a liaison with clients during all phases, and as Project Manager she coordinates the effort of the entire project design team from design through construction. Ms. Groves also maintains a supervisory role to all Morphosis design teams worldwide.

    Prior to joining Morphosis, Ms. Groves worked as a project designer at Cristiano Toraldo di Francia’s studio in Florence, Italy from 1985-1986. A licensed architect since 1990, Ms. Groves has lectured and served as a design juror at her alma mater, California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and team-taught with Thom Mayne at UCLA. She was also a juror for the 2002 San Diego Chapter AIA design awards. A native of Los Angeles, Ms. Groves received her Bachelor Degree in Architecture in 1987.
